CONTENT

 

Freedman
and Combs are internationally known for their leading role as theorists and
family therapists working in the narrative field. Their books, and especially
Narrative Therapy, are well known
and used all over the world. They conduct workshops and courses on various
levels and their Family Centre in Evanston, USA, is famous for the quality of
the courses and therapeutic work present annually. They have co-presented
many courses with Michael White and David Epston and can be regarded as world
leaders in the narrative approach.

 

Freedman
and Combs visited South Africa previously and conducted a level one workshop
in Pretoria. Julian Müller has attended both the level one and two workshops
in Evanston and has also participated with them in an international conference.

 

Prof
Julian Müller and Dr Lourens Human are both lecturers at the University of
Pretoria and are known for their courses and workshops in the narrative
approach to counselling. The workshop of 2008 will be the 8th in
the imaginative way of understanding and conducting pastoral therapeutic
situations
.
 

 

 

NATURE
OF THE WORKSHOP
:

 

This
is an interactive workshop with a lot of practical exercises, role-plays and
sharing of personal experiences.

·        R1800-00 per person

 

This
includes all study material, refreshments, two lunches and the certificate
for those who qualify. The price as published in the English prospectus had
to change to include refreshments and expenses of the two well known world
leaders in this field. 

 

A
maximum of 36 will be allowed to attend the workshop.
